First, let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Dan,
and I’ve been walking with Lord for over 14 years now. I came
to know the Lord at a business meeting. Prior to my meeting with
the Lord, I was very religious. In fact, I had always been very
active in the churches I went to. However, for all of my activity
in the churches I always ended up leaving feeling empty.
I have known since I was a small child that I was called to the
ministry. It has not always been a calling that that I have been
obedient to or for that matter, even wanted to acknowledge.
My family is made up of my wife, my two teenage children, and
of course myself. Currently, I’m employed a local Christian university.
I am working towards completion of a Master of Ministry and I
have plans of continuing my education with either a doctor of
ministry or a doctor of theology.
Since my personal meeting with Jesus, I’ve been very fortunate
that he is led me to churches that have been just what I need
at that point in my Christian walk. After I came to the Lord, I
attended a Disciples of Christ Church in North Long Beach. It was
a great transition from where I had been, before meeting the Lord.
After that, I was led to Faith Community Church in West Covina. At
that church I learned about leadership, Ministry, and the power of the
Holy Spirit. I spent approximately 12 years with that church before the
Lord led me to my current church. Currently, I attend Life and Life Christian
Fellowship of North Long Beach. A feel that God has placed me here
because of his future plans for my life.
As mentioned earlier, I’ve known all along but I was supposed to be
in Ministry. In particular, I have been called to be a pastor. Pastoring is
really not what you do with your life. Pastoring is who you are. My
purpose, and the purpose of this site is to bring another voice to
that choir of proclaiming God’s love to the world.
